Borås is often called "Sweden's textile city", and for good reason. The textile industry has been an essential part of the city's history and economy since the early 17th century. Polarverket has its roots in Borås and works hard to carry on the town's traditions. The textile heritage has always been an important part of the city and we hope that it can live on, albeit in new forms.

Polarverket manufactures all its products in Borås with the help of skilled tailors and seamstresses. Within walking distance of Polarverket you will find the Textile Fashion Center, which is one of the largest textile clusters in the Nordics. The center houses Sweden's Textile Museum, several textile and fashion companies as well as research institutions that all work to promote innovation and sustainability in the industry.

Polarverket will never have the capacity to produce large-scale editions, which instead gives our customers the opportunity to purchase more unique garments in smaller editions. We offer repair and sometimes we can even customize our products if you are out in good time.
